Paddy's Run Flood Pump Station Capacity Upgrade Design-Build

Located along the Ohio River near the economically and historically important Churchill Downs neighborhood, the aging Paddy's Run Flood Pump Station is a critical element of Louisville's flood-protection system. This design-build project will replace the station with an entirely new facility, complete with highly efficient pumps and modern controls. Currently under construction, the new station’s depth and proximity to the Ohio River levee requires close coordination with multiple stakeholders, including the US Army Corps of Engineers. The new station will pay homage to its predecessor through the inclusion of stately architectural details on the structure’s exterior.
